Job Description:
Controller for Historical New York City Hotel located in Midtown
Our client is a well established Hotel here in NYC and they are
looking for an Accounting Manager for their Midtown location. The
Accounting Manager will be responsible for all accounting functions
for resort operations. Responsibilities of the Role Include: Work
with corporate accounting to ensure an accurate and timely monthly
close Responsible for monthly financial statement reviews with
resort management Balance cash/credit card bank deposits
Involvement with taxes, payroll, and Accounts Payable Work closely
with General Manager in preparing annual operating budgets Maintain
General Ledger with little oversight Qualifications of the Role
Include: 6 years of relevant hospitality experience being in hotel
or restaurant industry Bachelors degree in Accounting Successful
candidate will have experience working directly with upper
management
