P&C Underwriting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in

unique culture and history. Opportunity: We are seeking a motivated
and curious individual to join our New York Commercial Property
team as a Summer Intern. This 12-week paid internship offers a deep
dive into the world of commercial underwriting. You will: Learn how
to evaluate and underwrite commercial property risks. Gain exposure
to the insurance lifecycle and the broader commercial property
market. Collaborate with experienced underwriters and
cross-functional teams. Participate in real-world projects that
impact our customers and business. You will be part of a dynamic
and supportive underwriting team that values collaboration,
innovation, and continuous learning. Your work will directly
contribute to protecting our clients’ assets and ensuring the
profitability of our portfolio. What You will Learn: Fundamentals
of commercial insurance Risk assessment and pricing strategies
Industry trends and market dynamics Teamwork and communication in a
professional setting Qualifications: Interest in Insurance,
underwriting, market trends or pursuing a degree in a relevant
field (e.g., Business, Finance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science)
Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency in math and comfortable with statistics, probability
and financial principles Effective communicator and team player

base salary range for this position in New York is from $22/hour -
$25/hour; a candidate’s salary is determined by their relevant
