Job Description Job Description Urgently Hiring Material Handlers to be trained into Production Operators! Pay: $23.33/ OT, $35 per hour (plus a $1 raise after 6 months to 1 year based on performance) Location: Rockaway, NJ Shift: 8pm - 8am, Thursday to Saturday, and every other Wednesday (Alot of Overtime!) Placement: 6 month contract to hire Benefits: 401k, medical/dental/vision, and a profit sharing program that grants a yearly bonus Job Description The Material Handler is responsible for coordinating all activities on the conveyor by organizing work orders at the load and unload stations. This role involves loading and unloading products, completing required paperwork, and assisting in the safe operation of the system. Responsibilities Operate the plant in the absence of the Shift Supervisor. Prepare dosimeters for scheduled work orders. Operate and take readings on the dosimeter reader. Assemble processed dosimeters with run data sheet, work orders, and load/unload sheets. Maintain accurate downtime and system configuration log. Record input, dosimeter, and unload information in the computer. Perform emergency procedures as required by license. Report system problems to the Maintenance Supervisor or Technician. Replace designated mechanical components and assist Maintenance as required. Oversee the work of others. Load large boxes containing spices and medical supplies into a conveyor system. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockaway, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
