Job Description:

Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania's Bucks County Division seeks a fulltime Teacher Assistant for the Approved Private School Autistic Support classroom for children aged 3-5 years in Levittown PA. Essential duties focus on supporting the classroom teacher with all lessons and activities including organizing and supervising children in the classroom and on the playground. The successful candidate must have the ability to assist the classroom teacher with working on IEP goals, implementing strategies, child engagement, participating in team meetings and attending trainings as needed. This is a school plus 6 week summer position totaling 44 weeks.Job Requirements:Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required. One to two years experience with a special needs preschool population in a school setting required. Child Development Associate in Preschool a plus. Good communication skills as well as the ability to take initiative and work independently required. Own transportation is required as the school location is not accessible by public transportation.
