- Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- New Jersey Standard Career Technical Education (CTE) Teaching
Certificate.
- Three (3) years successful teaching experience in Vocational
Ed.
- Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective
teaching methods.
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S.
citizenship or legal resident alien status. *As defined in N.J.A.C.
6A:9-9 Instructional certificatesBasic Functions and
ResponsibilitiesManagement and Coaching of Instructional Staff
- Observe, coach, and evaluate faculty; provide ongoing
professional development.
- Complete all Teach NJ Educator Effectiveness activities as per
district guidelines.
- Mentor novice teachers.
- Monitor and support the expansion of school-based CTE
programs.
- Ensure teachers are properly certified and students can obtain
industry certifications.Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment
- Lead and support CTE curriculum implementation.
- Review and approve lesson plans, assessments, and grades,
ensuring alignment with State Standards.
- Demonstrate best practices through model lessons.
- Collaborate on curriculum development and student assessment
strategies.
- Analyze student achievement data and recommend program
adjustments.Student Life and Family Support
- Foster a positive school climate.
- Engage families and community stakeholders.
- Support gifted and at-promise students with appropriate
interventions.
- Monitor IEP and I&RS implementation for
