Job Description Camp Curiosity & Curiosity Academy is a family-owned and operated school located on a 50 acre campus in Doylestown, PA, proudly serving the community since 1965. Curiosity Academy is seeking dedicated Early Childhood Teachers (full-time and/or part-time) to join our Preschool classrooms serving children ages 1-3 years old. As a Preschool Teacher, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where our youngest learners can grow and thrive. You will support their development in language, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and early problem-solving while building strong connections with each child and family. Collaboration with our caring teaching team is at the heart of this role. At Curiosity Academy, we believe every child has a natural curiosity and desire to explore the world around them. We’re looking for educators who share these values and have a true passion for guiding toddlers during their earliest stages of learning and development. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to - Create and facilitate engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for 1–3 year olds - Support daily routines: free play, guided activities, diapering/toileting, snacks/meals, and rest time - Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom that encourages independence, exploration, and social interaction - Observe and document developmental milestones; share updates with families and leadership - Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to maintain consistency and enrich the learning environment - Keep the classroom organized, clean, and child-friendly, ensuring toys and materials are safe and sanitized - Communicate warmly and effectively with families to foster trust and partnership - Assist in other classrooms when needed What We’re Looking For: - Energetic and passionate about creating a fun, safe space for children to learn and grow - Ability to provide consistent care and a nurturing presence - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Dedicated to creating engaging, play-based learning experiences Compensation & Benefits - Pay range: $16.00–$19.00/hour, depending on background and experience - Discounted childcare for staff (school year and summer camp programs) If you’re ready to inspire curiosity and support the growth of young children in a caring, joyful environment, we’d love to meet you! - Experience in Early Childhood Education (2 years preferred) - High School Diploma; CDA or childcare-related degree preferred - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Self-motivated with strong sense of independence, responsibility, and initiative - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills - Conflict-resolution and creative problem-solving abilities - Basic computer proficiency - CPR and First Aid Certification (training provided, if not current) - Fire and Water Safety Certification (training provided) - Ability to obtain required clearances: Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearances, and Mandated Reporter Training For all positions, please visit: https://www.curiosity.school/joinourteam Camp Curiosity, Curiosity Shoppe, and Toddler Center is an equal opportunity child care provider and employer.
