An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide temporary, short-term coverage in a K-12 school setting in Cape May, NJ. This contract position is ideal for professionals with experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language services, especially those who have completed a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Responsibilities include delivering effective speech-language pathology support to students across grade levels, addressing communication disorders, and collaborating with educational staff to promote student success. The position initially covers a leave period and offers flexible scheduling based on district needs. Key qualifications and experience: Experience as an SLP in pediatric and school environments Completion of CFY and possession of CCC credentials Ability to work effectively with K-12 students and school teams Flexibility to adapt to temporary and evolving schedules The initial schedule may require up to two days per week in February (pending final confirmation), with confirmed coverage through itinerant services starting in March. Additional coverage for January is already secured. Candidates with availability in February are encouraged to inquire as details and schedules are subject to final staffing determinations.
