A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available for dedicated educators with strong classroom and behavioral management skills. This position is based onsite at a middle school setting in Chester, PA, and offers a contract through the full semester, concluding June 12, 2026. Two openings are available, each requiring 37.5 hours per week, starting as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction aligned with state and district standards for special education students. Develop comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate formative assessments and differentiated learning strategies. Demonstrate expertise in subject matter and instructional techniques tailored to meet diverse learner needs. Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to student success. Collaborate effectively with school staff and adapt to urban school dynamics and district expectations. Qualifications and Experience: Active Pennsylvania Special Education certification/licensure is mandatory. A bachelor's degree is required to obtain an emergency teaching permit if applicable. Proven experience working within an urban school environment. Successful completion of all Pennsylvania clearances. Strong behavior management and classroom leadership skills. Experience teaching in a public school setting. Location: Chester, PA Onsite position at an urban public middle school.
