• Perform a wide range of civil engineering analysis and design tasks related to: roadway and grading design, site plan layout, zoning analysis, site stormwater management, utility planning and layout, parking analysis and layout, vehicle maneuvering analysis, site ADA compliance -
• Support coordination and presentation of submissions with local utilities, municipalities, environmental agencies, and town planning boards
• Perform site investigations to observe and document existing conditions
• Complete and -review design calculations; assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications
• Support the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications and the coordination with other design disciplines as required to deliver high quality engineering services
• Perform construction inspections and provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects
• Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on -projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new construction -
• Attend professional industry functions
• Support the development of technical standards and mentor-ship -of junior engineering staffQualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years' experience in Civil Engineering
  • NY PE required
  • Ability to provide guidance to junior level engineers
  • Understanding and application of code requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
