Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Is this you? Do you like
transforming a drawing into a finished, tested assembly? Are
Heli-Coils, torque specs, and fit checks second nature? If so,
you’ll thrive in our Assembly & Test Department on Daniel Road,
where you’ll own final assembly, finishing, and test readiness for
customer products. Role overview In this position, you’ll build
mechanical chambers and related assemblies to exact specifications
and prints, ensuring every unit meets our quality standards before
release. Core responsibilities Prepare and service threaded
features by installing and removing Heli-Coils per requirement.
Align, fit, and assemble components to create chambers and other
final assemblies for test. Troubleshoot assembly problems and
implement solutions. Carry out final cleaning/finishing steps to
customer procedures. Conduct in-process checks for compliance;
identify and report any damage promptly. Verify completion of all
assembly, finishing, and test prerequisites prior to sign-off.
Partner with engineering, production, and quality to ensure
customer expectations are achieved. Background and qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Hands-on mechanical experience
(automotive, small engines, or bodywork). 3–5 years in mechanical
assembly preferred. Capability to read and interpret engineering
drawings/specifications and translate them into product and quality
criteria. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Competencies Language: Read and interpret technical procedures,
professional journals, business periodicals, and regulations;
author reports, correspondence, and procedures; present information
and address questions from leadership, clients, customers, and the
public. Mathematics: Apply probability/statistical concepts, plane
and solid geometry, and basic trigonometry; use fractions,
percentages, ratios, and proportions in real tasks. Reasoning:
Define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid
conclusions; interpret diverse instructions (written, oral,
diagram, schedule) and handle abstract and concrete variables. What
you must have Foundational mechanical skills. Proficiency with hand
tools. Basic ability to read blueprints. Dependable, accountable,
