Fabricator Location: North Bergen, NJ Job Type: Full-time Compensation: $26- $30 per hour based on experience Experience Required: 3-5 years in metal fabrication Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Fabricator with 3-5 years of hands-on metalworking and welding experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, welding, and assembling metal components to create high-quality custom parts and structures. This role requires proficiency with fabrication tools and equipment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret work orders, and technical drawings. Cut, bend, and shape metal components using fabrication tools and machinery. Perform MIG/TIG welding and other welding processes as needed. Operate shop equipment such as saws, grinders, plasma cutters, and drills. Assemble parts and structures to exact specifications. Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy, quality, and durability. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and production goals. Qualifications & Skills: Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience as a fabricator, welder, or similar role. Technical Skills: Proficient in MIG/TIG welding, cutting, and general fabrication methods. Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings. Attention to Detail: Capable of producing precise, high-quality work. Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude. Team Player: Willingness to collaborate and support a fast-paced production environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work safely in a shop setting. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in automotive body fabrication.
