Kinsley Power Systems, Inc. is looking for a Sales Director to lead our Residential business as well as other assigned business units. This position is responsible for assisting in the creation of annual sales plans and implementing the plan to meet or exceed budgeted revenue and profitability goals. This individual will manage a team of inside and outside sales associates, along with internal support staff, while embracing the Company's core values. Sales Director Responsibilities:Responsible for the profit and loss (P&L) of the business, and utilizes the results to align the sales division for successResponsible for executing the department Annual Operating Plan; achieving department revenue, gross margin, and EBIT profitability goals congruent with the strategic growth plan Drives the strategic business plans for assigned sales divisionLeads assigned sales divisions to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and sales revenue and profitability goalsEnsures the sales pipeline requirements that are in alignment with the business growth objectiveReviews critical sales KPIs, and drives the commercial cadence and accountability with the businessPrioritizes and monitors the sales opportunities with the team, engages executive Kinsley Group leadership where appropriate to advance and accelerate the closure of opportunitiesAbility to negotiate and close deals that meet or exceed the Annual Operating PlanResponsible for hiring, and mentoring outside sales teamAdditional duties as assignedPreferred Sales Director Skills:Bachelor's Degree, or 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership roleSales distribution-related experience, selling B2B, B2C, and a keen understanding of balancing short and long selling cyclesFive years of experience with a proven track record in closing deals and managing multi-faceted sales organizationsAbility to demonstrate successful sales growth in previous roles, tied to the overall contribution of the business strategyProven experience in the sale of complex technologies and a strong desire to meet the customers where they live, build relationships and long-term partnershipsRelated experience in diesel power, power generation, distributed energy, cogeneration, electric power generation, or related is a strongly preferredAbility to delegate, develop and motivate the managers and sales teamsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin.
