Urgent care Physician Levittown PA. looking for another 1099 or W2 BE/BC MD or DO in any of the following Specialties (ONLY): Urgent Care Emergency Medicine Family Medicine Sports Medicine Internal Medicine (w/ Peds experience) Base salary $200,000 plus Bonus structure as well Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing the highest quality patient care Managing all patient care at the center Supervising all medical staff Ordering and reading all diagnostic x-rays and labs Ensuring medical staff follows proper protocols and conducts patient call backs Ensuring pharmacy and CLIA approved laboratory compliance with regulations Ensuring accuracy of International Classification of Diseases (ICD) Rev 10 codes Collaborating with the Center Administrator in the hiring and training of medical staff on shift Compiling quality data and addressing with medical staff as needed Ensuring all charts and medical records are accurately completed in a timely manner Ensuring patients are discharged with detailed instructions Collecting biological specimens and process them in the lab when needed Adhering to all center policies and procedures Qualifications M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) or D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) degree Board certified/eligible by the American Board Family Medicine in: Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Active and current medical license in the State of Pennsylvania Active and current Federal DEA number Active and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Passionate about the practice of medicine Prior urgent care or emergency room experience a plus Active and current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification a plus Active and current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications a plus Familiar with occupational medicine and travel medicine Comfort and experience treating patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics Clinical ability to suture lacerations, set minor fractures, drain abscesses, and read x-rays Effective and compassionate communicator with staff, patients and family please send CV to Brian Torchin.
