employment JOB SUMMARY: To promote the mission of PATH to help
individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being
an effective team member. The Children/Youth Services Drug &
Alcohol Therapist will be responsible for the delivery of clinical
services, to adolescents and their families who are either at risk
for or actively engaging in substance use/abuse. QUALIFCATIONS :
Master’s degree in human services field from an accredited college
or university One year post-Master's experience working with
youth/families and drug & alcohol experience required. Knowledge of
substance use issues and treatment Excellent interpersonal skills
LCSW, LMFT, LPC preferred. License eligible within 6 months of
employment. SPECIFIC DUTIES: Provide individual, family, couple and
group therapy for adolescents and their families utilizing approved
treatment modalities and interventions Collaborate closely with all
systems involved with each assigned youth and document all case
management activity Be aware of clients’ financial liabilities,
coordinate any financial changes with PATH’s Billing Department,
and assist clients in securing third party resources when indicated
Complete all required documentation including treatment plans,
assessments, annual reviews, progress notes and discharge summaries
in a timely, comprehensive and legible manner and in accordance
with PATH policies and procedures Contribute to any quality
improvement/outcome measurement tracking, development and data
gathering as assigned Collect all pertinent information and provide
comprehensive assessments in accordance with PATH policies and
procedures Be flexible in scheduling appointments to meet
youth/family needs Meet productivity standards for your position,
which includes direct and indirect standards. Provide community
based services and/or service delivery as assigned PHYSICAL
