for a full-time physical therapist to support students in both
school and home environments within a K-12 setting located in New
Rochelle, NY. This contract position spans the entire school year,
providing consistent rehabilitation services that enhance student
mobility and functional independence. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
physical therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress
monitoring for K-12 students. Develop and implement individualized
treatment plans tailored to each students unique needs. Collaborate
with educators, families, and other service providers to integrate
therapy goals into the educational setting. Provide therapy
services in both school and home environments to ensure continuity
of care. Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with
regulatory and school policies. Participate in meetings,
consultations, and professional development opportunities. Desired
Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist with relevant state
certification. Experience working in educational settings, ideally
with K-12 populations. Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to
varied environments, including both school and home. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate
with multidisciplinary teams and families. Commitment to
student-centered care and fostering independence. Location: New
Rochelle, NY services provided in school and home settings within
