Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare, a prominent leader in nursing and healthcare
staffing, is seeking a PRN Oncology RN to join our dynamic team in
Belleville, New Jersey. This position offers the unique opportunity
to work in a supportive environment that values expertise and
dedication in oncology nursing care. As a PRN Oncology RN, you will
provide top-notch care and support for patients battling cancer,
collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the
continuous improvement of patient outcomes. Provide direct nursing
care to patients in the oncology unit. Assess, plan, implement, and
evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare
team. Administer chemotherapy, manage symptoms, and monitor
patients' conditions. Educate patients and their families on
disease processes, treatment, and home care preparations. Maintain
accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality standards.
Participate in research and continuous education related to
oncology care. Proficient in administering chemotherapy and
managing side effects. Strong understanding of oncology care and
protocols. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work flexibly and respond to patient needs. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid RN
license. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred.
