Job Description:
Specialized Fire is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to
join our Technical Support & Troubleshooting team. Dedicated to
enhancing safety and efficiency, our company provides advanced
firefighting equipment and solutions. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire
alarm systems, ensuring that all work adheres to regulatory
standards and customer requirements. This role requires keen
attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a
commitment to upholding the highest standards of fire safety.
Install new fire alarm systems in accordance with all federal,
state, and local regulations. Conduct regular preventative
maintenance and routine inspections of fire alarm systems. Identify
and repair faults in fire alarm equipment and associated
components. Maintain accurate documentation of installations,
inspections, maintenance, and repair work. Provide training and
support to customers on the proper use of fire alarm systems. Stay
updated with the latest fire safety regulations and technological
advancements in fire alarm systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic
tools and equipment for fire alarm systems. Strong understanding of
electrical systems and fire alarm circuitry. Ability to read and
interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. Excellent
troubleshooting and analytical skills. Strong communication and
customer service skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems. State-specific
licensure or certification as required.
