Job Description:

System Freight, Inc., a leader in direct-to-store deliveries and fleet outsourcing services in the Northeastern United States, is seeking an experienced Local CDL-A Driver for our PM shift. This role is critical in maintaining our reputation for timely and efficient delivery solutions directly to our client's stores. As a Local CDL-A Driver, you will play a key role in our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and prompt transit of goods to locations primarily within the Northeast. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Adhere to planned routing, and meet delivery schedules Report any incidents or deviations from the route planned Loading and unloading cargo while ensuring safety procedures are followed Maintain communication with dispatch and respond to calls as necessary Complete logs and reports Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Ability to operate a tractor trailer safely and efficiently Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries Excellent communication skills Deep understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations Proficient in using GPS and other routing systems Physical ability to handle large loads Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) Clean driving record DOT medical card HazMat endorsement preferred
