In this role, you will operate precision machinery in the mold fabrication process, ensuring the highest quality standards are met for the healthcare industry. This position requires detailed knowledge of machining equipment, keen precision, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient production environment. Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to machine molds accurately. Set up, operate, and maintain various machining equipment including lathes, milling machines, and grinders. Inspect completed molds to ensure they meet precise specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with the design and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining or assembly issues. Perform routine maintenance on machining tools and equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Proficiency with computer numeric controlled (CNC) machinery Strong understanding of reading and interpreting technical blueprints Excellent attention to detail and precision Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude Medical Insurance 401k Certification from the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Any relevant machining certifications such as CNC Machinist certification
