Job Description:

Currently we are seeking Paraprofessionals for the 2022-2023 School Year working directly in Bucks County. The positions are working directly in the Elementary or Middle Schools depending on the age group you would like to work with. The positions would start as soon as the Summer ESY program if you wish to work in the Summer or as soon as the new school year starts, and then last for the entire 2022-2023 school year working during the school day.Job Requirements:

• Provide support to all students in the classroom
• Provide instructional reinforcement under the direction of the classroom teacher for individual students and/or small groups of students
• Monitor students in the classroom and non-classroom settings in the school with daily routine
• Helping children with special needs
• Meet needs of the students
• Supervise and assist individual student in the classroom or in a small group with other students
• Set up learning stations, laboratory and activity centers
• Supervise and assist students in the classroom while teacher is working with other students in small groups
• Helping students with special needs reach full potential
• Assist students during academic enrichment activities
• Creating an orderly classroom environment collaborates with the classroom teacher to provide effective individual and group instruction
• Assist teachers with classwork and the daily care of students with special needs
• Support the teacher's classroom expectations/discipline rules
• Work either one to one, or with a classroom, with students who have disabilities
• Assist the classroom teacher in providing instructional services to Spanish speaking students including some that have disabilities
• Play an important role in the special education classroom and serve as the right-hand to a special education teacher
• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups of students
• Make a difference in the lives of students
• Assist students and teachers with behavior management, and/or administrative duties
• Assist classroom teachers with instructional, behavior management, and/or administrative duties
