part of Optum, has an immediate opening for a friendly, patient
focused and detailed orientedPatient Care Coordinator to join our
team. The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for the
completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with
all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of
the organization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere to
Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical
and service goals.Working Hours:36 hours a week with 3 12-hour
shifts any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. The
shifts are from 7:45 am to 8:00 pm EST. The shifts are to be
determine by the practice manager. Rotating weekend and holiday
shifts. May be asked to float to other practices as
needed.Location: 1680 N Olden Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638Primary
Responsibilities:Greet patient when entering the practiceObtain
accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address,
insurance informationPerform insurance verification on the date of
serviceConfirms and schedule appointmentsAnswer telephone calls
promptly and courteouslyCollects co-pays or outstanding balances on
the date of servicePerform referral documentation promptlyPerforms
certain follow-up services for patients in a prompt and courteous
manner, such as scheduling specialist appointments, scheduling
follow-up appointments and obtaining copies lab results or
specialist reportsAdhere to the standards identified in Optum's
Employee Policy ManualCooperate with other Optumemployees to
achieve specific team goalsKeep abreast on current medical
requirements relevant to their position, which includes maintaining
patient confidentiality and abiding by all HIPAA and OSHA
