Job: The Branch Managers have the importance of managing and
leading all aspects of the branch performance while consistently
upholding MCU’s core values. You will be responsible for
efficiently managing all functions, staffing, and daily operations
of a branch or multiple branches. This means leading branch staff
to achieve company goals, support the mission and visons of MCU and
always have the member’s experience in mind. You will drive
performance and member loyalty through consultative interactions
with our members and solutions that help them achieve financial
well-being. Accountable for risk management and compliance. Build a
high performing team through the attraction, on-boarding, coaching
and development of branch team members. Branch Manager is a
critical role to MCU, with variety of responsibilities. As a Branch
Manager you will be actively involved and represent MCU in your
local community. Being a part of the community, attending community
events and supporting the community will be an expectation. At MCU,

Credit Union and its members What you’ll be responsible for: You
will manage HR activities including, hiring, coaching, performance
evaluations, and compensation decisions as necessary, you will also
mentor and support employees while holding them accountable to
service, operations and sales goals You will develop and manage a
branch business plan aimed at specific goals. You will direct and
actively participate in strategy and tactics including being active
in your local community, outbound calling, in-branch selling,
branch campaigns, service calls. Along the way you will evaluate
areas of need to deepen member relationships. Branch Teams will
look to you for mentorship, coaching and training to assist in
meeting our member’s financial goals and delivering a meaningful
member experience, and any other topics to keep the team engage and
performing as per MCU’s core values and mission. You will perform a
wide range of administrative and supervisory duties including the
development of branch goals and financial targets, in-branch sales
and outside sales. As the Branch Manager, you will instruct, coach,
supervise and assist in their professional development. You may
undertake special projects relating to department services as
assigned. Manages operational, human capital, reputational and
business risk. Exercises leadership, authority and sound decision
making to mitigate sales practice risk. Ensures compliance with
regulatory guidelines and adherence to established policies and
procedures. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the
following: Proven ability to coach, develop and retain a highly
engaged team Personable nature with good member experience service
skills, both verbal and written as well as a strong presentations
kills Community affiliations to nonprofit organization Able to work
and leverage technology to help our members and team Willingness to
enthusiastically manage constantly changing priorities Strong
planning and organizational skills An eagerness to collaborate
across all lines of business. Responsible for staffing the branch,
including recruiting/identifying talent, interviewing and selecting
branch team Develops a comprehensive understanding of members’
financial needs and recommends products and services to help the
members achieve their financial goals Develop partnerships with
center of influence and networks in the community to identify
prospective member referrals and service opportunities Leads by
example and ensures consistent delivery of distinctive service for
all our members Manages and coaches to the delivery of a
differentiated member experience. Coaches team to confidently
engage with members in technology enabled interactions, providing
solutions and advice oriented consultation that improves member
financial well-being. Leads effective problem resolution, making
banking easy for our members. Connects all of MCU, delivering a
seamless member experience in an omni channel environment.
Responsible for successful onboarding and training of new employees
Implements strategies that increase productivity and enable sales
target achievement. Attends weekly manager’s meetings. Facilitates
and empowers the team to conduct morning huddles and monthly staff
meetings to develop and inform staff. Manage the branch office in
an efficient and cost-effective manner. Cultivate professional
business relationships with organizations in the community. Coach,
motivate, and mentor all staff to achieve and support service
excellence. Implement and monitor sales and cross-selling programs
to reach established goals. Manage staffing, scheduling,
performance evaluations, and make disciplinary recommendations as
necessary. Takes personal ownership to deliver results. Empowers
and trusts others in decision making. Disseminate information
regarding changes in policy, procedure, and products and services
offerings in a timely manner. Control branch expenses within
budgetary constraints. Ensure branch operational integrity and be
“audit ready.” Comply with BSA and SAR requirements. Travel and
work at other branch locations as required. Perform other duties as
required What you’ll bring: Bachelor’s degree in business
management/administration or equivalent work experience. Minimum
five years of branch or managerial experience. Excellent written
and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational ability
in a high-pressure environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Suite. Available to work flexible hours. Highly ethical. Available
