multiple myeloma. Legend Biotech is seeking a Senior Research
Associate, In Vivo Pharmacology (Contractor) as part of the
Research & Early Development team based in Philadelphia, PA . Role
Overview This position will perform preclinical in vivo
pharmacology and toxicology studies to support pipeline
advancement. The ideal candidate will have experience in biology
and oncology and in vivo studies with animal models. The successful
candidate will work in a collaborative environment and is skillful
in supporting multiple projects by conducting various in vitro and
in vivo laboratory experiments. Contract Duration: 12 Months Key
Responsibilities Work together with other team members to execute
various in vitro experiments including cell culture and cell
functional analysis, human PBMC isolation, ddPCR, flow-cytometry
analysis for biomarkers. Support in vivo animal studies including
management of mouse colony, test article dosing through injections
of intravenous, intraperitoneal and subcutaneous. Tumor measurement
through caliber and bioluminescent imaging, processing and
analyzing various animal samples, including blood, tumor and
tissues from mice and NHP. Lab instrument maintenance. Requirements
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in biological sciences (Immunology,
cell biology and cancer biology, et.al.). 5 years’ experience in a
biological laboratory setting (industry preferred). Cell culture
and cell-based function analysis. Experience in ELISA and
flow-cytometry is required. In vivo study experience is required.
Being able to handle mice confidently is essential. Molecular
biology skills such as DNA and RNA extraction, RT-PCR and ddPCR,
etc. Sense of ownership and integrity of their work. Demonstrated
ability to work as part of a team. Demonstrated organizational
skills including but not limited to pay attention to details and
multitasking. Mouse handling and procedures (bleeding, injection,
in vivo imaging, tissue dissection and analysis), cell culture and
function analysis, multiple-color flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, and
multiplexed cytokine analysis assays (MSD and Luminex). Not
